Marketing Manager
Location: Cheshire
Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office
Salary: £36k to £40k DOE, plus bonus
Full - time

We are looking for an innovative and creative marketing expert with a passion for sports and community building. An emerging sports brand in a rapidly expanding field in Cheshire, is seeking an adept Strategic Marketing Manager to lead their marketing initiatives and contribute to the growth of their expanding network of clubs across the UK. If you possess a strategic outlook, a knack for creativity, and a passion for sports-focused marketing, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement our client's marketing strategy and budget management.
  • Assist in business development through tailored local marketing plans.
  • Supervise and maintain presence across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Foster engagement and cultivate a robust social media community.
  • Manage content creation within established budget constraints.
  • Lead and execute PR campaigns to elevate brand image.
  • Foster relationships with local media, influencers, and brand ambassadors.
  • Creation and oversight of press releases.
  • Supervise website development, content creation, and maintenance for optimal online representation.
  • Ensure timely updates of brand materials such as leaflets, flyers, brochures, and presentations.
  • Produce and distribute engaging monthly newsletters to inform and engage our community.
  • Implement efficient strategies for collecting, analysing, and managing customer data.
  • Conceptualise and assist in planning social events like corporate leagues, charity days, and monthly tournaments.
  • Collaborate with club management to ensure seamless execution aligned with our client's community-centric approach.
  • Coordinate and execute launches for new client sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronise marketing efforts for successful openings.
  • Maintain brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategy throughout launches.


Who are we looking for?

    • Strong strategic planning abilities.
    • Proven creativity in implementing marketing strategies.
    • Background in sports marketing, especially with community-centric brands.
    • Proficient in graphic design software like Adobe, with a knack for creating promotional materials.
    • Exposure to a start-up high growth environment highly beneficial
