Marketing and Business Development Manager |Marine | London
My client is an international legal services firm with a ambitious growth strategy and reputation for exceptional client service. They are looking to recruit a Business Development and Marketing Manager to operate as the key point of contact for the Marine Business Group . Working closely with the Head of Marine, partners and other fee earners you will manage and deliver marketing and business development projects for the group identifying and converting leads and prospects, whilst also devising innovative programmes to differentiate the firm in its key markets. You will oversee the planning and execution
of a variety of client events and marketing projects, and be proactive in introducing innovative ideas and strategies.
Key responsibilities:
*Plan and implement client relationship programmes that develop the firm's brand and enhance its reputation in key markets and sectors
*Raise the profile of the group in the UK and internationally
*Support the delivery of key client programmes
*Assist with preparation of submissions for legal directories within the relevant deadlines
*Identify opportunities to grow business with potential and existing clients
*Support and coordinate the development of clear team business development plans for growth in line with national business development strategies
*Work closely with other team members in sharing best practice and ensuring the overall success of the firm's business growth
*Plan and implement business development opportunities through networking, sponsorship and partnering with intermediaries
*Manage and support partners with the monitoring and delivery of the group marketing budget
The successful candidate will have:
*Marketing and business development experience within professional services
*Business/Marketing qualification, or degree (or equivalent)
*Proven experience with CRM programmes and target plans
*Experience of working in the legal sector highly beneficial
*Knowledge of the shipping sector desirable
