Interim Bid Manager | Professional Services | London,Leeds or Manchester 12 month FTC
My client is a high profile professional services firm with a reputation for innovation and exceptional client services. They are looking to recruit an experienced Bid Manager on a 12 month Fixed term contract. Working as part of a wider strategic bids team and reporting directly to the Head of Bids you will take the Lead on all bid requests coming in to your allocated business unit providing insight and best practice recommendations for delivering a winning bid across all stages of the process. You will bring innovation and process improvement to the firms wider Bid strategy whilst taking responsibility for maintaining a library of core bids collateral for your function.
Key responsibilities:
*Get involved earlier in the sales cycle working closely with client teams to develop bid messages ahead of an RFP.
*Challenge on Go/No Go decisions, with both quantifiable evidence and knowledge of other decisions
*Take responsibility for project managing the bids creation process from start to finish
*Using previous successful bids as examples, advise lead partners and associates on bid strategy and formulation of a winning proposition.
*Coach bid teams at the meeting and presentation stages of pitches
*Conduct post tender debriefs.
The successful candidate will be/have:
*Ability to project manage effectively, and to tight deadlines
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Confidence to challenge partners constructively and put forward alternative suggestions to positively enhance the output whilst being confident to influence the decision-making process appropriately.
*Have excellent writing and editorial skills for pitch content.
