The company

A multi-million turnover, long established, family owned SME in West Manchester. Great communications and relationships are pivotal throughout the business and their excellent customer service and rapid turnaround makes them the market leader within the industry. This HR manager role will be vital in supporting the business with continued growth and success.

The role

In this standalone role, you will be highly operational supporting employees across head office and the shop floor. Reporting directly into the managing director you will take ownership for implementing a HR strategy that facilitates the achievement of the business objectives. Varied and demanding in nature you will have a real opportunity to impact the wider business.

Sitting within the senior leadership team you will drive HR strategy forward and provide expert guidance and support to managers on all employee relations matters. Recruitment, onboarding and training will be key to this role, overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, you will ensure they are able to recruit the right talent.

The candidate

We are seeking a proactive and resilient self-starter able to work autonomously with a democratic and collaborative approach. You will need to have a minimum of 5 years proven HR generalist experience within a manufacturing, logistics or construction background.

Graduate calibre and ideally CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified you will be an expert communicator and strong influencer. Confident in your employment law knowledge, you will be well equipped in dealing with all Employee Relations matters.
