Head of Marketing

​The Head of Marketing develops strategies for all the marketing teams within the business, including Digital, Advertising, Communications, and Creative. They manage the team, budgets, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Building and implementing strategies for all the marketing teams inc. Digital, Communications, Advertising and Creative.

  • Setting team goals and enabling the team to meet them

  • Preparation of all reporting - monthly, quarterly, annual.

  • Leads all marketing activities

  • Coaching and development of employees

  • Ensure that the brand message is consistant and strong

  • Understanding consumer behaviours and personas

  • Identify new opportunities

  • Competition monitoring

Expected Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Head of Marketing, or several years experience as a Senior Marketing Manager

  • Proven experience running successful marketing campaigns

  • Extensive CRM experience

  • Good knowledge of Google AdWords and other web analytics

  • BSc or MSc in Marketing or similar would be highly desirable

Salary

The average UK annual salary for a Head of Marketing is £56,500. This can rise to around £63,000 in London. Annual bonuses are common for Heads of Marketing, alongside other benefits.
