Head of Marketing
The Head of Marketing develops strategies for all the marketing teams within the business, including Digital, Advertising, Communications, and Creative. They manage the team, budgets, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Building and implementing strategies for all the marketing teams inc. Digital, Communications, Advertising and Creative.
Setting team goals and enabling the team to meet them
Preparation of all reporting - monthly, quarterly, annual.
Leads all marketing activities
Coaching and development of employees
Ensure that the brand message is consistant and strong
Understanding consumer behaviours and personas
Identify new opportunities
Competition monitoring
Expected Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Head of Marketing, or several years experience as a Senior Marketing Manager
Proven experience running successful marketing campaigns
Extensive CRM experience
Good knowledge of Google AdWords and other web analytics
BSc or MSc in Marketing or similar would be highly desirable
Salary
The average UK annual salary for a Head of Marketing is £56,500. This can rise to around £63,000 in London. Annual bonuses are common for Heads of Marketing, alongside other benefits.
