Talent Manager - £70k - £75k - London / Hybrid - 12 month FTC - Full or part time considered (4 days)

A critical pillar of the transformation journey is their people, and how they support and develop them to fulfil their potential. As the People team evolves they are looking to recruit a Talent Manager to work within the L&D team to develop and own talent management programmes across the business, from leadership to entry level talent.

You will be working closely with the HR business partnering team and their executive stakeholders to embed regular talent processes and conversations ensuring high potential is identified alongside succession plans. You will take the lead in identifying critical future skills and capability requirements ensuring that emerging talent is nurtured and appropriate develop programmes are put in place while ensuring internal mobility becomes the norm and a diverse array of opportunities are available. Additionally you will work closely with learning and talent acquisition colleagues to develop and manage entry level programmes for apprentices, graduates and interns including management of the apprenticeship levy. You will also support the development of a high performance culture, and work closely with managers to empower them to work with their teams to manage individual performance.

You will be experienced in developing robust and bespoke talent programmes across a diverse workforce, from leadership to entry level, and will have experience of manging apprenticeship levy funds and third party providers. You will also be adept at developing succession planning strategies and be able to tangibly measure and demonstrate the success of your programmes. You will thrive working at pace in a changeable and fluid environment, and will be agile enough to respond to business change. Credibility will be key and you must be able to talk knowledgably and confidently about your subject area.
