6 month FTC with scope to turn permanent

We are looking for an experience Supply Chain Manager for our client, to lead the day-to-day running of the Supply Chain team and support the people development process. There will an opportunity for the successful candidate to shape processes.

This role will be a hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office and remote working dependant upon business needs.

The job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

*Improve cross-functional collaboration between different teams, inc. Supply Chain, Tech Ops, and Commercial
*Effectively lead and develop the Supply Chain team, ensuring they are motivated and working cohesively, as well as improving service levels.
*Improve inventory health by optimising stock and reducing write-offs
*Ensure that key business processes are executed to a high standard and are continuously improved
*Identify opportunities for improvement within the team, and proactively driving and supporting change.
*Ensure that commercial plans are in place that support both customer service and working capital objectives
*Routinely analyse supply chain KPI's with the team, and ensure effective appraisals and one-to-ones are conducted, with development and coaching plans put in place when required

The ideal candidate will:

*Have several years demonstrable experience leading a Supply Chain team, with experience with CMO supply planning.
*Be experienced in SAP or similar ERP systems
*Have demonstrable experience of Sales and Operations planning
*Be confident when interacting with colleagues at all levels, both internally and externally
*Have outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and utilise appropriate management styles in different situations, including coaching when required.
*Possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to bring insight and make informed decisions
*Have demonstrable experience improving customer service levels, with a 'continuous improvement' mindset
*Be confident when using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*Have the ability to cascade and align business strategy into both the functional and personal objectives of the team
