Whilst someone who can carry out the technical aspects of SEO with accuracy is important, this agency's priority is to find a digital marketer that gets the whole customer journey and the part SEO plays, not just a data analyst who focuses on getting to the top of SERPs at all costs.

Demonstrating initiative and strategic thinking (able to interrogate results, understand audience search intent and identify opportunities for clients) is an area they don't want to compromise on.

A fast paced, independent creative agency based in North Manchester are looking for a solid and self motivated SEO manager to look after a growing portfolio of clients and support the growth of the Digital Marketing offer.

The agency is full service, delivering brand strategy, brand design, website design, digital marketing and graphic design services for a range of predominantly B2B organisations. It's an exciting time to join with the business experiencing exponential growth after several large new client wins.

The SEO Manager will be solely responsible for the performance of all SEO clients and will work closely with the Social Media Manager and Account Director to deliver content strategies, identify new opportunities and write proposals.

The Key Responsibilities:


*Liaise with clients in order to deliver quarterly client plans
*Covering all aspects of SEO and working closely with internal and external teams to deliver website audits pre and post launch, ongoing technical and on page optimisations, recommendations to improve SERPs and the delivery of content marketing plans to increase the organic channel.
*Maintain regular communications with all clients in order to update them on their account progress
*On a daily basis, carry out project management on the client accounts
*Analyse and report on the performance of all the campaigns; highlighting areas of the weakness which will benefit future projects

The Perfect Candidate:


*Proven SEO experience in an agency handling and reporting on multiple client accounts
*Great attention to detail
*Good knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, AccuRanker, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog
*The ability to conduct keyword research and technical audits
*On-page and Off-page optimisation experience
*Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry news and algorithm changes!
*Strong understanding of technical SEO concepts including site architecture and indexation
*Proficient in creating engaging content for the content strategy OR creating strong content briefs for internal and external copywriters
*Fantastic organisational, communication and analytical skills are vital
*Capable building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and other team members
*A team player who can work effectively on their own
*Aware of how individual specialisms interact with other channels!
