SEO Digital Marketing Manager
Greater/South Manchester (Flexible/Remote working may be available)

Up to £40k + company performance related bonus
Focus of the role: To own the SEO pillar within the agency.

We are seeking a talented, organised and energetic SEO focused Digital Marketing Manager to join our client's growing Cheshire-based digital team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working across both technical and non-technical SEO campaigns, ideally within an agency environment.
To be considered for the vacancy you'll need to have a solid base of SEO experience and be confident working across multiple clients and within both B2B and B2C markets. You will need to have a track record of implementing successful SEO strategies and campaigns, which have led to a positive impact in website rankings, traffic and value for clients. You will also be able to work as part of a team on website builds and migrations always ensuring best SEO practice is followed.
You must be able to proactively work on your own initiative, supporting the wider digital marketing and development team. As a part of the role, you will be expected to continually evaluate the market regarding search best practice and be able to adapt the SEO strategy against the changing landscape.

The role:
The role will cover a variety of tasks with a particular focus on strategic SEO Marketing. You'll be responsible for supporting the Head of Digital Marketing as well as the Account Management teams in the development and delivery of results-orientated SEO campaigns.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
*Creating successful SEO strategies through in-depth research and insights
*Implementing and monitoring SEO best practice on client's websites
*Manage existing clients and help build new business by contributing to proposals and pitches
*Set up conversion goals as required to ensure campaigns have clearly defined conversion metrics.
*Create SEO strategies for site migrations.
*Carry out technical SEO reviews / audits
*Plan and assist with implementation of link building campaigns through outreach of content
*Collaborate with the wider digital marketing team
*Using HubSpot Digital Marketing platform
*Regular reviews and reporting for client portfolio
*Regular client-facing meetings

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm. Please note that flexibility is occasionally required in these hours in order to allow the business to provide exceptional service and meet client expectations.

*Proven experience in SEO strategy implementation
*Google Analytics experience to a high standard
*Google Tag Manager experience to a high standard
*Knowledge of various tools including
*Google My Business
*Google Search Console
*Google Data Studio
*Keyword planner
*SEMrush
*MOZ
*Majestics SEO
*Ahrefs
*Screaming Frog
*Experience of search engine optimisation, including technical on-page, content and link building campaigns
*Proven track record of delivering improvements in SEO
*Experience in producing digital marketing reports, tracking KPIs and feeding back to the team / the client
*Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
*A keen interest in the latest digital practices and technologies
*The ability to work as part of a team, good communication skills and the critical ability to know when to ask for help and guidance
*The ability to work to tight deadlines and self-motivated as well as motivating others

*Google Analytics certification (if not held/transferred it will be a requirement that you gain within your probationary period)
*Google AdWords certification with Search Advertising (if not held/transferred it will be a requirement that you gain within your probationary period)
*Experience using Google Data Studio
*Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, Dotmailer, Getresponse etc.)
*WordPress and Magento experience is preferable but not essential
*Experience writing and optimising content for websites
*Knowledge of HTML, CSS
