Senior Paid Media Manager - North West

Our client, a leading Marketing, Comms & Digital Agency, are looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to take full ownership of digital advertising campaigns whilst taking a hands-on role in day-to-day management of campaigns and looking for opportunities to develop our advertising service offering.

Responsibilities

Paid media
*Provide end-to-end campaign management from initial research, planning and quoting through to on-going campaign management, optimisation and reporting
*Demonstrate understanding of B2B target audiences and how best to reach them, including what platforms, targeting methods and messaging to use
*Liaise with the creative team and copywriters on the production of campaign assets
*Day-to-day management and optimisation of digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn and other social media advertising as well as Google paid search, display and retargeting
*Understand and use their project management systems and software, including AdStage, DAN (internal), TeamGantt, Microsoft Planner and ResourceGuru
*Analyse advertising performance in relation to client objectives, combining data from various sources (e.g. Google Analytics, AdStage, etc) to create a full picture of campaign performance
*Produce campaign reports which provide an oversight of campaign performance in relation to client objectives and highlight learnings and optimisations implemented
*Clearly and confidently articulate campaign performance, analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams
*Be the lead contact for account stakeholders, including clients, internal teams and external partners and freelancers
*Support the development of junior digital team members through delegation, shadowing and 1-on-1 training
*Produce estimates, monitor budgets throughout campaigns and analyse against estimates post-campaign, ensuring learnings are applied in future
*Implement processes to help ensure exceptional quality of work and improve team efficiency


Commercial
*Take an active role in the client relationship and provide consultancy to clients and account teams to support the organic growth of key accounts
*Support new business development and organic client opportunities, including developing pitches and participating in client meetings
*Identify opportunities to develop our digital advertising services


Knowledge and skills

Strong experience with digital advertising methodologies and platforms, including LinkedIn Advertising, Google Ads (paid search and display) and demand-side platforms
*Strong experience with web analytics, particularly Google Analytics. Experience with Adobe Analytics also desirable but not required.
*Excellent analytical skills, including understanding of statistical significance, to confidently interpret campaign performance
*Strong experience working with tools such as Excel and Google Sheets
*Have great attention to detail, ensuring consistent improvement in the quality of our output
*Have the ability to manage changing business and technical requirements
*Be expert at own time management and setting own and others work goals
*Have a very good understanding and knowledge of UX, web standards, accessibility and compatibility issues
*Be familiar with multiple technology platforms i.e. mobile apps, web, email and streaming media
*Have good numeracy skills for estimating and scheduling
*Be able to demonstrate an informed opinion about the digital ecosystem
*Be forward thinking, with an ability to innovate and leverage technology as it evolves
*Have exceptional communication skills - both internally and client facing
*Understand all aspects of offering
