Job description

We are working with the UK arm of a global business to recruit exceptional talent to join the HR team at a time of significant change and transformation. The transformation project is very positive and geared towards future proofing the business, ensuring it is a great place to work in addition to being commercially sound and customer focused. Specifically we are seeking a HR Shared Services Manager to develop and lead the existing service, ensuring it continues to work efficiently while taking it to the next level in terms of service offering and capability. Initially a thorough review of the service will be necessary, before focusing on the development of processes and systems which meet both the current and future needs of the business. At the heart of this role will be a focus on the HR Shared Services team, developing the capability of the existing team and providing solid and inspirational leadership which in turn creates a positive culture and team working ethos. This team is central to all aspects of HR across the business, including recruitment, L&D and reward, therefore this role is highly visible across the wider HR team, and indeed the business as whole.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previously managed a team within a HR Shared Service environment, and will ideally have had prior exposure to HR generalist activities. A strong interest and aptitude for HR systems and processes would be highly advantageous, along with excellent technical HR knowledge. This is an extremely fast paced environment, and the role will be both challenging and rewarding in equal measure.
