We are delighted to be supporting multinational, entrepreneurial business in their search for a People Director. Although SME in terms of employee numbers, they are ambitious to grow future revenues, and this will only be realised by attracting & retaining the right talent for the business.

Well established, this business has proven success of developing, delivering and supporting their clients with a range of innovative solutions. In turn, these services allow their customers to manage business operations more effectively.

With a network of offices both in the UK & Internationally, their employees are experts in their field, passionate about what they do and are always looking for new and innovative ways to solve their customer's challenges.

This is a newly created People Director role, and as such will play an influential member of the senior leadership team; helping to shape the future direction of the business. Working with the SLT this People director role will design a contemporary best in class people essentially embracing the whole employee lifecycle. As expected, the role will support all generalist HR aspects including Organisational Development, Talent Management and Succession Planning, People Development and Recruitment / On-boarding; delivering the elements through a small HR team.

A trusted business partner to the business, this is a real opportunity to draw on your senior HR generalist expertise to bring fresh ideas and ways of working to the business. You will provide expert advice on a range of HR matters such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and talent. Helping to formulate business plans, you will diagnose the people implications and translate that into a clear people plan.

To be successful in this People Director role you'll be commercially astute, used to partnering senior leaders across multi-site locations, building solid relationships and operating as coach and advisor. Ideally your experience will come from a professional services background, you will be highly skilled in developing recruitment strategy.
