Salary: £60k to £70k per annum


This is an exciting role that provides a rare opportunity to work closely with key Leadership stakeholders and gain an insight into operational and strategic execution across a high profile global consulting firm.

Aligned to one of the firms key market segments the Market Operations and Strategy Manager is a business critical role to interpret and provide insight regarding business performance against key metrics, collaborate with leadership across the strategic planning process and drive strategic and tactical deployment of key go-to-market initiatives to drive incremental pipeline and revenue growth to achieve multi-million pound revenues per year.

Acting as a 'trusted advisor' the Market Operations and Strategy Manager will have the following responsibilities

  • Key point of contact for the market segment strategic planning process working with the market segment leadership team to identify strategic growth drivers
  • With the sector leadership define and activate the sector go-to-market strategy and execution plan
  • Leverage Markets Finance reporting to analyse and interpret market segment performance against strategic KPIs
  • Articulate and distribute timely financial performance and pipeline information, including communication of key trends, opportunities, and action plans
  • Serve as project manager for the implementation of firm wide and market specific go-to-market programs including sales campaigns, growth platforms
  • Team with Business Development functional specialists, Brand, Marketing and Communications, and other resources to accelerate BD programs
  • Drive cross service line collaboration and connectivity through tailored events, town hall meetings, communications and learning opportunities
  • Management of key account planning and reviews, Board meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Management of Client Experience program
  • Make recommendations to leadership based on professional standard and acquired experience regarding strategic interventions that will accelerate performance growth
  • Align, coach and develop off-shore resources to support market segment

The successful candidate:

  • Previous experience in business operations or strategic execution
  • Firm understanding of business KPIs - having held roles such as commercial manager, business operations manager, sales operations manager
  • Background within professional services or a complex, global matrix environment
