What's the role?

Learning & Development Business Partner up to £60,000 with a full benefits package that includes a car allowance & bonus entitlement. The role is agile based at present, with an expectation of traveling to an office based M62 corridor 3 days/week post Covid.

This business is a high profile UK arm of a global business, has traded very well throughout the recent pandemic and has ambitious yet achievable plans to grow by 20% in 2021. To re-iterate, the pace of the business is quick and as such you will be required to establish strong working relationships from the get go. You'll be joining a dedicated & engaged wider HR team, and will be afforded a great deal of autonomy whilst working within a supportive & values driven business.

The role in more detail

As Learning & Development business Partner, the role will focus on designing & delivering a robust Learning & Development strategy; to ultimately design & deliver a range of career enhancing programmes & create a culture of continuous learning. Not unsurprisingly they are an exacting group & you will need to have excellent stakeholder skills especially around communication and influencing; in order to gain credibility from your business group and promote the value of the development programmes. The main aims of the development strategy is to help underpin a high performing culture, promote best practice as "business as usual", have highly engaged employees & have the right future skills in the business as they evolve.

What are they looking for from a Learning & Development Business Partner?

Starting from scratch in certain areas, you will have a proven track record of successfully designing & delivering a range of proactive & contemporary development programmes including leadership, management & early careers that ultimately support career journeys & strengthen succession planning. Commercially, you will have sound knowledge of managing budgets & accessing funding to full effectiveness & with demonstrable ROI. Likewise your experience will be ideally supported by a recognised learning or coaching qualification, and good usage of learning management systems. You will have support in this role, so experience of management is preferable.
This role will suit a candidate with relevant development experience from both a commercial & manufacturing environment and accustomed to working in partnership with senior stakeholders.
