International HR Manager - Up to 50k plus bonus + package, Manchester City Centre based

Who is the company?
We're supporting an SME based in Manchester in their search for a newly created HR Manager opportunity, within the life sciences industry. They are in growth, with significant VC backing, and surmise of a small number of employees based in the Uk and Internationally. Culture wise, they have a flat structure where all the employees are extremely passionate about the products and the quality they bring. Autonomy is high on the agenda, along with professionalism and excellence in the work they do and relationships with each other; demonstrated by their exceptional teamwork & proven track record of success to date.

What's the role?
To support their growth agenda, they now need an HR leader to embrace the HR agenda and deliver an HR service that reflects their goals, aims and mission. Reporting to the exec team and based mostly from Manchester, the role will be accountable for supporting the ambitious business growth agenda with an appropriate HR strategy.

Embracing the HR generalist remit - key objectives will initially focus on resourcing key employees internationally, development plans for success, engagement initiatives that enhance the employee experience & communications, performance & reward and co-ordinating pay across the UK & Internationally.

Ultimately, the role will require someone to hit the ground running, roll their sleeves up and implement an effective HR function - where there is process, policy & compliance which supports employees and curates a positive journey forward.

Who are they looking for?

Culture is key in this role, and will appeal to a real team player who feels passionately about the great work they are doing, along with a true desire to work within a collaborative & respectful environment. Ability to communicate with remotely based colleagues is also very important.

Essentially the role is looking for a broad experience of HR generalist at management level, ideally with international experience & preferably within a life sciences industry.
Whilst stand-alone, the role does have commitment for support for areas of development & knowledge gaps.

The role would really appeal to someone who seeks autonomy, the ability to work directly with the exec team, to create their HR function from scratch & directly impact the business growth & performance.

Basic salary up to £50,000, plus bonus + package
