Here at Adam, we're supporting a fast paced busy growth business in their search for an HR Manager based at their Manchester office.

Attitude is imperative here; you'll need to be happy to roll your sleeves up & help establish the HR function.

So what will you be doing?

In the first few months you will pivotal in supporting your key stakeholders, and helping them manage their people The role will be ultimately focused on people & culture ensuring that culture and ways of working are translated & embedded within the business adopting best practice principles. HR as a function is still evolving, and you will play a pivotal in supporting future HR initiatives. As you would expect from a fully generalist role, there will be a real variety of stuff to get stuck into - no two days will be the same but expect the full generalist gambit ranging from engagement initiatives, employee relations, performance, development to internal comms.

Yes, there is an operational element to this role and your pragmatic approach to this is paramount, however there will be a very real opportunity for added value projects that will help shape the future of the business.

Working within a dedicated HR team, you will have appropriate previous HR expertise preferably from within a fast paced, commercial, customer service focused environment. You are a self-starter, solutions focused, know what good HR looks like, and particularly excel as a savvy stakeholder manager.
