Job description

HR Business Partner - c£40k - West Yorkshire - FTC (12 months)

This business is a unique proposition - it has the feel of a tech start-up with the support and infrastructure of a wider group business. With a highly entrepreneurial leader in situ and a big growth and development agenda, the HR Business Partner will work with the business to ensure they are set up for future growth.

They are a small business and everyone plays an important part in its success. With this in mind attraction and retention is high on the agenda and the HRBP will take the lead on ensuring there are clear development pathways in place so that both current and potential candidates can see a career with longevity, challenge, and growth. The HRBP will also ensure that new and future leaders have the support to grow into these roles and feel they have the tools and skills to lead confidently and effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment.

No two days will be the same, and as with most small businesses, you will adapt to the needs of the business, working closely with the leadership team to identify and deliver against priorities. In this business HR does not fit into a neat box, you must be happy and able to turn your hand to anything people related and be confident in your comms with leaders who may not come from large corporate environments. The key here is to ensure HR is an enabler, not a gatekeeper or blocker, embedding structure and processes that make sense and dovetail with the business strategy.

There is so much opportunity to get involved in some truly fascinating projects all centered on driving growth and scalability. We are looking for a HR Generalist who is looking to make an impact. You might be a Senior HR Advisor ready to step into something bigger or be looking for a new, pacy environment to flex your generalist skillset.

The role is being offered on a 12 month FTC to cover a secondment and as they are part of a wider group there may be future opportunities to consider as the business evolves. With a base in West Yorkshire they do expect a regular site presence due to the nature of the business and role, but do offer plenty of flexibility and a hybrid model which works on a 'common sense' basis.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
