Job description

Head of People - Permanent (full and part time considered) - c£45k - Manchester / hybrid

We are partnered with a highly successful business within the marketing / digital space. Having experienced significant growth and change over the past few years they are now looking to further invest in their people and evolve their offering.

This business and leadership team wholeheartedly believe that their people are what make them successful and that the development and maintenance of a positive, inclusive culture naturally translates to high productivity and strong results.

The new incumbent will inherit a function with solid foundations and a good reputation, this will be about moving things to the next level and dovetailing strong commercial acumen with people centric initiatives and strategies. With a strong talent bias, this role will develop and embed a strong L&D strategy which aligns closely to the business plan, and engages key stakeholders to facilitate and drive a learning culture. Talent acquisition and retention is also high on the agenda, while they don't intend to recruit large numbers in the short term, this will be about ensuring they have a strong employer brand, that does what it says on the tin and ensure the business is attractive and competitive in all areas including comp ánd bens. Engagement is also another key pillar of the role, the business has embraced hybrid working and they are keen to ensure the culture is not diluted by this rather it evolves and is strengthen by the diversity and opportunities this presents.

We are looking for an individual with truly rounded HR experience, although a bias in the talent space including development, talent acquisition and culture would be advantageous. You will ideally have worked in an SME environment where you have been closely aligned to board and leadership stakeholders. The role will report directly to the CEO, and as this is an SME environment you must be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. A strong commercial mindset is absolutely essential and you must be able to demonstrate how you blend people and commercial priorities.

In essence this is a really exciting HR opportunity which will give the right person such a fantastic opportunity to develop and embed a people structure which will directly influence business growth.

This role can be offered on either a full time or part time basis, with a ballpark budget of c£45k, however again we are open to discussion.

Please apply via the link, or get in touch with Lindsey at We Are Adam to discuss.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
