Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Project Manager to join a remote based award-winning Digital Product Studio.

Ideally you will come from an agency background.

You'll be managing high performing creative and technical teams working across a wide range of clients from big name global brands to tech start-ups, in the delivery of digital projects including platforms, apps and games.

Working closely with clients and internal product owners, this is an opportunity for a client centric, motivated and highly organised Project Manager with a genuine love of technology to really make a positive impact.

This is a remote position open to candidates who are based in the UK with occasional travel to client and team meetings required.

Key responsibilities:

*End-to-end project delivery, from pitch to release
*Resource planning and scheduling of projects
*Working collaboratively with the studio leads to scope and estimate projects
*Working alongside the Client Services team to ensure projects are delivered to client's satisfaction, on time and on budget
*Running client meetings, ensuring objectives are being met - including assessing project risks and change control
*Building a strong partnership with clients - ensuring communication is regular, clear and work is collaborative
*Keeping the team on track and motivated
*Financial reporting including project overrun/underrun, work in progress, raising and tracking spend against purchase orders

Skills and experience:

*Experience of a software development environment - web build and app projects (and/or) games projects
*Have experience of managing external clients and project teams
*Have experience in managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
*Comfortable taking the lead in daily stand-ups, sprint refinement, backlog and sprint ends
*Good working knowledge of JIRA and Kanban boards
*You're a natural collaborator and team player, with the ability to lead and guide your teams
*Exceptionally organised, well prepared and thorough
*Passionate about technology and always looking to learn and discover
*A clear and confident communicator
*Efficient, highly organised and have a solid understanding of digital products
*A good working knowledge of Microsoft Project

It's an advantage if you:

*Have certified Project Management qualifications such as PMI / PMBOK or Agile certifications
*Have used studio scheduling tools
*Understand planning of projects using Microsoft Project or Smart Sheets
*Experience of utilisation forecasting and reporting
*Project management responsibilities, number of projects managed at any one time, team size and structure
*Project / resource planning - including tools used to plan projects you've managed
*How you go about financial tracking of projects and reporting on profitability
*Knowledge of project management methodologies - particularly Agile and Waterfall
