The Role

Over the last few years, we have seen an increase in online engagement with our target renters. This amplified during the pandemic and now 90% of our leads are generated through digital channels.

To help us make the most of online engagement and communicate more effectively with both our existing customers and our prospective customers, we have invested in a new CRM software platform called Salesforce, which includes Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

All leads are funnelled into this software platform and our existing customer database has been exported into the new CRM.

We are now seeking a proven digital marketing specialist to drive online engagement across our residential portfolio. The Digital Marketing Manager is a new position and will be a key role in Grainger's digital transformation.

As part of your new role, you will input into the acquisition and retention strategy and
be responsible for creating and developing acquisition, retention, lead nurturing and lead management email and SMS campaigns that will amplify brand awareness and increase conversion and retention rates across multiple brands within our portfolio.

You will be required to reports on the success of these campaigns and change content and frequency, depending on success rates. Also, you will also be responsible for uploading and managing content across several websites, setting up google analytics and liaising with our digital agency to ensure lead tracking is in place.

This role will be integral to delivering a digital growth strategy that will ultimately optimize online customer engagement at Grainger. In FY22 we will be launching a new Customer Portal and a new Customer Website. This role will work closely with key stakeholders on the successful delivery of these new projects that will be designed to enhance our customer experience.

This is a new and exciting role that has potential to expand and grow. You will report to the Head of Marketing and sit within the Corporate Affairs team - which includes internal and external communications, events, brand, marketing, investor relations and political lobbying. The Corporate Affairs team work closely with the Grainger Executive team as well many departments within the business.

The Digital Marketing manager will work closely with a number of stakeholders including our lettings and operations teams as well as our graphic designer and social media manager, to create campaigns that deliver maximum impact along the customer journey.

This role is ideal for an ambitious creative individual with a logical mind. You may have worked in an agency or for another consumer lifestyle or residential business and will have a proven track record of campaign collation and database management and ideally would have worked with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform. You will be flexible, and solution orientated in your approach.

Qualifications and Experience

*Proven experience managing CRM and ideally have worked with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
*Proven skills of managing end-to-end campaigns, together with data analysis and reporting is essential
*Excellent written communication skills
*Experienced at using web analytics tools such as Google Adwords and Google Analytics and an in-depth insight across digital trends
*Fluent written and spoken English, with Grade B or above GCSE English and maths
*Previous experience working for a digital agency or a customer facing business.


Salary and Contract Term

We are offering a permanent role of £50,000 per annum.
You will be based at our head office, which is based at 1 London Bridge.
