Job description

Who we are: We are George House Trust.

George House Trust has been providing HIV support, advice & advocacy service to support health
outcomes since 1985.

Based from Manchester, we have a very clear vision - for all people living with HIV in the North West to live happy and healthy lives and be free from stigma and discrimination.

Having grown over the years, we look to build a sustainable future considering the challenges of:
*Working with our partners to end HIV in a generation
*Continuing to provide support to those impacted by HIV and:
*Understanding how we develop services and propositions for those persons who are ageing with HIV.

As our operational environment evolves & balance of work flexes, we need to ensure that our infrastructure is strong, our impact & influence is high and that through exceptional teamwork we deliver operational excellence.
We have a proud track record, and our ability to deliver within a changing & challenging landscape, but looking forward in order to achieve our ambitions, we need to bring together strong commercial acumen balanced alongside our practical & humanitarian services.

What we are looking for in our new CEO

The CEO role at George House Trust is a leading role not just at this charity but in the changing HIV landscape. Our new CEO will share our passion & values; and will champion George House Trust through a unique blend of strategic planning, tactical partnerships, national, regional & local government influence, operational knowledge & commercial delivery.

You will strengthen our relationships, leading to further growth in our volunteer base and increasing the number of people we help. In addition, you will be an excellent networker in professional settings, with the ability to lead through influencing. Last but not least, you will have a flair for strategic thought and business development, and a track record of successful leadership at CEO or senior director level.
