Head of Talent
The Head of Talent's main task is the understand the business, it's goals and priorities and to create a hiring strategy in order to help achieve these goals.
Responsibilities
Managing and developing the Talent Aquisition team
Identifying the needs of the business, and creating and implementing an efficient talent aquisition strategy
Monitoring turnover and reporting to the Executive team
Overseeing individual and team training
Developing employee retention strategies
Overseeing regular employee performance reviews
Managing the reporting process
Workforce planning
Resource forecasting
Expected Skills & Qualifications
Extensive team management experience
Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to motivate a team
Strategic and tactical thinking
Influencing skills
Proven experience with performance management
Experience designing and delivering employee training
A strong understanding of workplace legislation
Salary
The average UK annual salary for a Head of Talent is £67,500. This can rise to around £74,000 in London. Annual bonuses are sometimes issued to Heads of Talent if business goals are met. (Glassdoor, March 2022)
