We are helping our friends at The Pull Agency find a talented and proactive Social Media Executive to join their team.


Working closely with the digital marketing team members to help develop and execute social media plans for clients.
You must be well knowledgeable across all social media apps and tools, be on top of trending content, and actively sharing this knowledge with clients and colleagues.


*Responsible for the day-to-day management of client's social media platforms. Execute content across all channels using various social media scheduling tools, including some paid support.
*Support with social media strategy development
*Create monthly social calendars across various platforms in line with the social and content strategies
*Be a creative thinker, coming up with design suggestions for social posts and writing design briefs.
*Be a key player in monthly editorial meetings, coming up with content ideas across organic social, paid social and influencer campaigns
*Write social post copy in line with brand tone of voice and brand guidelines
*Identify and push new and exciting social content formats and opportunities - both planned and proactively
*Engage with social media influencers to build relationships with fans of the brand
*Monitor social channels and respond to posts on behalf of clients
*Monitoring and reporting on engagement, traffic and referral links as a result of content and social activity
*Support creating and running paid social ads campaigns
*Measure ROI, conversion rates and effectively be able to optimise paid social campaigns to meet campaign KPIs
*Write campaign reports and present back to clients and Pull's Head of Digital Marketing
*Producing client facing reports and case studies to Pull's brand standards.
*Assisting with new business pitches, including research and putting together presentations
*Support the Content & Social Media Manager in running Pull's own social media channels
*Create blogs for the Pull website
*Assisting with general Pull marketing from a copy point of view, i.e. events, webinars, emails


*Contributing to the agency's collaborative team approach on client projects and Pull marketing
*Be a proactive and key contributor to editorial meetings, client meetings and team briefings
*Maintaining an in depth understanding of the digital marketplace, with particular emphasis on all new and emerging social platforms, i.e. TikTok
*Working as a helpful and co-operative member of the digital marketing team providing support, cover and assistance to colleagues absent on holiday of for some other reason.
*Answering the phone as required and as back-up to Pull's receptionist or more junior members of staff.


*Excellent written communication skills
*Excellent level of interpersonal communication skills
*Good commercial knowledge and awareness
*Good working knowledge in social media tools such as Hootsuite and/or Sprout Social
*Good social reporting knowledge with the ability to develop key insights and to summarise findings
*Good knowledge of Facebook Ads & Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Twitter Ads
*Desirable to have TikTok and TikTok Ads experience (even if it's personal experience rather than professional)
*Desirable to have Facebook Ad certifications
*Able to work quickly and within deadlines
*Good level of presentation and communication skills
*Competent in use of MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel


*Min. 1 year working in a social media role
*You have been responsible for running a brands social media account
*Experience using social media scheduling tools and reporting features
*Experience of the health & beauty category desirable
*Experience working in or with an agency is desirable


*Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms - especially Instagram and all its features
*Good knowledge of social algorithms
*Good understanding of data to form key insights
