Job description

Responsible for all strategy and planning for existing client and new business opportunities you will take a leadership approach working closely with key clients, creatives and the wider client services team to define and implement brand and communication strategy from insight, through activation, and on to evaluation. Bringing a natural curiosity and a love of problem solving, you will be motivated by the prospect of producing amazing solutions to a diverse range of challenges.

Areas of responsibility:
*To lead on strategy and planning for new business and clients.
*To demonstrate an intuitive understanding of what our clients want and need and a passion and skill for understanding target audiences.
*To proactively drive strategic initiatives that will add value beyond the existing scope of work.
*To be responsible for the end-to-end process, driving and inspiring creative briefing and insight-led creative strategy and being responsible for 'what' the solution is, 'why' that is the solution, and 'how' we implement that across audience journeys and media.
*To deliver truly integrated campaigns and communication strategies, blending traditional and digital channels.
*To develop and own agency strategy and planning tools and IP and use these to help the agency monetise strategy and planning.
*To set and track KPIs, analyse and interpret customer response and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.
*To work with the client services team to understand key clients' businesses beyond marketing to become a strategic partner of the client to help grow their business and solve problems, acting as the senior strategic relationship. Take on client leadership role where appropriate.
*To partner with the senior creative team in a highly collaborative way with the aim of winning new business as well as managing the strategic development of existing key accounts.
*To apply market, audience and channel insight to establish the foundation for the strategy.
*To lead ongoing market and industry trends research, analysis and insights - to inform work, agency strategy and new business opportunities. We want someone who is immersed in traditions and trends, cultures and subcultures, technology and new enterprise, politics and economics - in the way we live.
*To champion the creative briefing process and to inspire, challenge, motivate, mentor and influence all areas of the agency to encourage the agency to think bigger and broader so we produce the very best work.
*To challenge output as required to ensure we produce work that is both strategic and creative.
*To constructively propose new ways of working to make the agency output more effective, challenging the status quo to continually improve our offer.
*To build and grow awareness of the agency brand by acting as an outward facing thought leader.
*To act in the best interests of the Agency at all times.
