What is this People Coordinator role?

This People Coordinator is a critical role, created to directly support employees and the ongoing growth journey of a highly successful business. Currently SME in nature, the business
has ambitious plans to grow and you will be instrumental in helping good people become their best selves at work & thrive in their roles. Recent employee satisfaction scores rate very highly and the business has an excellent leadership team, a robust business plan & a true commitment to their people.

The People function is relatively new to the organisation, and joining the Head of People you will be helping to create & develop the people function.

What will you be doing?

As the People Coordinator, you'll be the initial "go to" person in the people team; responsible for:
Managing the people admin processes; ensuring employees understand how things work & help improve processes that will enable the business
Be the guardian of employee data ensuring an accurate data, and recognising & reporting trends
Support the talent team to track talent and attract the best people
Working on a range of communications to engage employees
Ad hoc projects that come about as being part of a busy People team

Who are you?

You already have an introduction to HR - be it an HR biased degree or People admin experience, and really love what you do. Attitude is key here; you'll thrive on truly supporting people & boosting employee morale through effective HR initiatives that in turn deliver excellent performance. Your attention to detail is spot on, and you have flair for communication whether you are updating policy or managing challenging stakeholders. In addition, the role needs strong organisation skills combined with a customer first approach.
