Job description

Organisational Development Lead - Manchester - c£50k - £55k - Permanent

This business is an iconic and much loved North West brand. They blend strong local roots with huge international reach and have an incredibly passionate workforce. Currently driving a step change in how they deliver talent and OD, they are looking to recruit an Organisational Development Lead to own and drive a number of people related projects.

Through a variety of projects and interventions, you will work collaboratively with the wider HR and talent team to support the development and implementation of a robust OD strategy which builds organisational capability. While the business have a strong external brand, they want to ensure their employer brand is robust and reflects their culture and identity, with this in mind the OD lead will facilitate discussions and create conversations exploring what this is, gathering insights and data and translating this to recommendations and actions. This will be the basis for other areas of focus including performance and the ongoing development of a role framework across the business. You will lead annual cycles while also making recommendations for improvement and simplification, ensuring they are accessible, inclusive and reflect the goals of the business - both people and performance wise.

There is a strong project bias to this role, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in multiple programmes working across the HR team. The projects will all have an OD lens but will be diverse, drawing in all parts of the business. The ideal person will come from either an OD background, or a HR background with a strong interest or bias towards OD and projects. You will above all be a strong relationship builder who is able to bring people together and create healthy debate, helping people to feel involved and heard. You will also have a real interest in how culture impacts performance, and be able to have insightful conversations, challenging the status quo.

This is a great opportunity to be part of something exciting as this business continues to develop it's people offering, you will be working for not only a strong brand, but a business that takes pride in its people and the impact they can have.

The business work on a hybrid working model (roughly 50/50), and are based in Manchester.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
