This business is a rapidly expanding international business with status as UK Market leader in its field. Ongoing success and expansion plans have created the need to find a proven sales leader to lead and manage a significant channel. The role is a senior role reporting directly to the UK Sales Director, this person will be key in developing and growing the Symbol Accounts and the large independent buying groups and small wholesale businesses. Creating and developing a profitable long term partnership this person will work closely with the UK Marketing and Finance Team to develop and implement promotional activity to grow the brand.
Meeting and onboarding new business partners, ensuring internal staff are well versed in strategy and progressing swiftly with partners to implement launch plans for Innovation and annual promotional activity within budget. Maintaining a weekly, monthly and yearly timetable of focused support to achieve targets.You'll apply best practice from other key businesses whilst maintaining the brand.

The role requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the customer base, the competitive market. To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate a proven record of consistent sales delivery in an Account Management role, ideally within a relevant Consumer- FMCG Retail sales channel. You'll have exceptional category management, promotional planning, sales forecasting, promotional activity planning skills and demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
