The client and the role
I have worked with this business and the wider business for over 6 years, recruiting most of their C-suite board. We are working really closely with the MD of this business who I placed this year too to build a strong marketing team, they are an incredible business with vision and passion that are second to none. Operating like a start-up but with the funding and backing of a large organisation. The business is a service led B2B business with a unique product and offering, designed to fit with small to large business across the UK. Very much a business with Tech at the forefront, accessibility via smartphone, tablet or computer.

What is the role?
You will work in partnership with the MD to develop the marketing strategy for the business, and be accountable for design, delivery and measurement of the annual multi-channel marketing plan, working to an agreed budget and KPIs. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive the development and growth of the brand. Working closely with the sales team, also having support from the wider business marketing team will build your own high-performance team.


*Actively contributing to the strategy, objectives and plans
*Act as the Brand Guardian
*Develop and deliver the brand strategy and plan for the business to build brand awareness, perception, and usage
*Work with the MD to develop a marketing strategy and annual plan aligned to business strategy, vision, and mission and in support of the KPIs
*Define and deliver marketing activity against customer engagement, acquisition, retention, and value targets
*Develop and execute a cohesive content plan
*Listen to the trends in the market at customer, sector, and competitor level, sharing insights and recommendations with stakeholders
*Develop and deliver effective customer research to enable informed decisions
*Work with Analytics and UX to develop offline and online media dashboard to help inform our decision making
*Lead day to day management of marketing agencies, media agencies, PR agencies, and all other third-party marketing providers
*Manage the Marketing budget


What are we looking for?
*Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
*Experience of creating and developing strong successful marketing strategies
*Apply marketing techniques over paid, owned and earned media (digital and non-digital)
*Develop compelling content strategies
*B2B marketing experience
*Combines data driven and creative outlook to marketing

*Commercially astute with focus on the P&L
