What's the role?
A Learning & OD Manager offering a basic salary circa £60,000 (depending on experience) with a full benefits package that includes a car or car allowance. The role is based in Manchester 2-3 days per week in the office with some UK travel involved which you plan into your diary.

This is a leading business-to-business organisation within the world of environmental sustainability. A pacey business, you'll need to establish strong working relationships from the get go, and as the subject matter expert, you'll be the go-to for all things Learning & OD. You'll be joining a dedicated & engaged wider HR team, and will be afforded a great deal of autonomy whilst working within a supportive & values driven business. The CPO that heads up this team is a consummate professional and has a proven track record of excellence when it comes to HR delivery.

As Learning & OD Manager the role will focus on designing & delivering a robust Learning & Development strategy; to ultimately design & deliver a range of career enhancing programmes & create a culture of continuous learning. The main aims of the development strategy is to help underpin a high performing culture, promote best practice as "business as usual", have highly engaged employees & have the right future skills in the business as they evolve and grow.
What are they looking for from a Learning & OD Manager
Starting from scratch, you will have a proven track record of successfully designing & delivering a range of proactive & contemporary development programmes including leadership, management & early careers that ultimately support career journeys & strengthen succession planning. Commercially, you will have sound knowledge of managing budgets & accessing funding to full effectiveness & with demonstrable ROI. Likewise your experience will be ideally supported by a recognised learning or coaching qualification, and good usage of learning management systems.
This role will suit a candidate with relevant development experience within manufacturing, FMCG and Pharma organisations and accustomed to working in partnership with senior stakeholders. A qualification in coaching would be welcomed.
