Digital Content Editor FTC - Professional Services - Glasgow
We are looking to recruit an Interim Digital content editor for a global professional services firm in Glasgow on a fixed term contract. Your primary responsibility is to manage all non-Out-Law content on the website (for instance case studies, credentials, videos, etc). You will actively assess new content for upload against the firm's Content Strategy and provide support to content authors in aligning content to strategy where needed.
Key Responsibilities :
*Processing content updates received from stakeholders across the firm
*Optimising content ensuring the taxonomy/tagging is applied fully to all content, thereby ensuring it is 'surfaced' on all relevant areas of the site
*Facilitating translation where necessary / appropriate
*Supporting basic administration of the CMS
*Identification and escalation of site/CMS issues
*Monitoring the website mailbox and ensure timely responses to all enquiries
*Monitoring, reporting and resolution of issues which occur on the website
*Ensuring content is actively managed to ensure its timeliness and relevance, liaising with colleagues where appropriate for updates or deleting/archiving if necessary
*From time to time, supporting with upload and lawyer approval of Out-Law news stories, guides, analyses and legal updates
*Support the firm's PR team in maintaining the firm's presence across agreed social media channels.

The successful candidate will have:
*Minimum two years' digital publishing experience
*French, German, Spanish or Chinese language skills desirable.
*Working in a fast paced publishing or marketing environment an advantage
*Professional services experience an advantage
*Strong content management system experience. Sitecore experience is highly desirable.
*Experience of PhotoShop, Google Analytics, social media platforms desirable.
*Knowledge of HTML and web development and advantage but not essential
*Graphic design experience an advantage but not essential
*Good IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
