Interim Chief People Officer

Although SME in terms of colleague numbers, they are ambitious and have a clear business strategy for future success; and this will only be realised by attracting, retaining & developing the right talent for the business. Based in Manchester City Centre and fully engaged in hybrid working, colleagues are experts in their field and passionate about what they do.
This Interim Chief People Officer role will play an influential member of the exec leadership team; helping to shape the future direction of the business. Working with the SLT, this Chief People Officer role will be accountable for a contemporary best-in-class people function essentially embracing the whole employee lifecycle; to attract, develop, engage & retain. As expected, the role will support all generalist HR aspects including Organisational Development, Talent Management and Succession Planning, People Development and Talent Attraction / On-boarding.
A trusted business partner to the business and heading up an HR team, this is a real opportunity to draw on your senior HR generalist expertise to bring fresh ideas and ways of working to the business. You will provide expert advice on a range of HR matters such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and talent. Helping to support the business strategy, you will diagnose the people implications and translate that into a clear people plan.
To be successful in this Interim Chief People Officer role you'll be commercially astute, accustomed to partnering with senior leaders, building solid relationships and operating as trusted coach.

Offered initially on a 6 month basis, this role may, and will be based from their Manchester offices on a hybrid basis - maybe 2-3 days/week.
