HRBP - FTC 6 months, agile working plus travel to W Mids
Job description
This is an interesting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join an established, well-known organisation for 6 months to support the implementation of a large-scale change program in a heavily unionised environment.
The Role
Being part of a newly created Project team, the postholder will need to hit the ground running in utilising the agreed organisation design principles to support the Executive Team and Senior Management in redesigning their organisational structures, including the direct matching of existing resource and identifying unplaced employees.
Taking the lead for an assigned area of the organisation, you will help to establish a case for change through effective review of cost benefits of the proposed structures. The postholder will provide hands on support in conducting collective and individual consultation, ensuring employees are treated fairly and with dignity. Taking responsibility to ensure that displaced employees are supported in seeking alternative employment where possible both inside and outside the organisation or provided with additional support to improve their employability.
The role will manage the assigned area in all aspects of the project through the consultation and into the transition to stand up the new organisation ensuring the capture of benefits realisation and implementation of system changes and issuing of changes to contract plus any exits of the organisation.
The Person
This is a senior level role which will require:
*Significant experience of large scale change projects, specifically consultation, ideally in unionised environments
*In-depth knowledge of implementing re-structures
*Experience of managing change and working to project management principles
*Managing project interdependencies and risks
*Experience of managing senior stakeholders
