The business in question is part of a very much larger parent group and operates in a matrix model across the UK. In support of a market leading product & a very healthy order book, they need a full overhaul of their HR processes & ways of working, adapting some from the parent group but working at their own pace to embrace a local culture. Having reached a pivotal point in their evolution, they seek an HR Manager to help craft their journey & navigate the landscape going forward within a high change & growth environment.

Working closely with the CEO & leadership team; as the lead HR & leadership team member; you will be the eyes and ears of the organisation assessing the good & bad of the existing HR practice & innovating to deliver an HR service that truly enables the business, drives productivity and engages employees.

With a backdrop of constant change, transition and ambiguity, this HR Manager role will influence, design & execute effective people solutions. Tactical areas for focus include organisation design, effective communication & leadership development.

Leading a small HR team of excellent calibre, alongside other UK HR colleagues, you'll have a strong network to work within, sharing best practice HR ideas and strategies in a collaborative, value added manner.

Considering the above, this business seeks a robust & pragmatic Senior HR Professional who possesses a full HR toolkit, knows what good HR looks like and constantly looks to innovate & be contemporary in their approach to HR. Likely previous experience is from within a highly commercial & fast paced change environment (you know what good HR looks like). Delivery and proven service within a dedicated business unit is highly preferable.

In return, you can expect a basic salary up to £55,000 depending on experience, car allowance, bonus, and other benefits. This business has adopted a hybrid approach to working and you can expect to be in the office (South Manchester based) 3 days a week with 2 days at home.
