About the Role

Email and Lifecycle Manager

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: £38k to £45k DOE

Hybrid: 2-4 days a month in the office

Permanent: Full time

A fast-growing, PE backed SaaS business with a global customer base is looking for an Email & Lifecycle Manager to turn marketing strategy into communications that drive results. Working as the hands-on CRM specialist within a collaborative marketing team, you’ll take campaign plans and bring them to life through persuasive emails, automated journeys and lifecycle programmes. You’ll write the copy and build everything in HubSpot.

If you enjoy writing copy that converts, designing journeys that adapt to customer behaviour, and showing the commercial value of your work, this role is for you.

The Role:

  • Turn approved campaign briefs into strong messaging, hooks and calls to action, and suggest better approaches where you see them
  • Write all customer-facing email and CRM content, including campaign emails, nurture sequences, landing pages and in-platform messages
  • Simplify complex products and propositions into clear copy tailored to different audiences and stages of the customer journey
  • Design and optimise automated journeys covering new business nurture, onboarding, cross-sell, renewal and reactivation
  • Use customer behaviour and engagement data to trigger follow-ups and decide the next best message, moving beyond scheduled sends
  • Build and manage emails, landing pages, forms, pop-ups, lists and workflows in HubSpot, making sure every send is accurately targeted and thoroughly tested
  • Work with the data and insight team to keep contact records, properties and lifecycle stages clean and reliable
  • Give creative direction to designers, and brief and manage freelance copywriters when extra capacity is needed
  • Run at least one structured A/B or multivariate test every month and share what you learn
  • Report on performance in terms of leads, conversion and revenue, not just open rates, and feed insights back into future campaign planning

About you:

  • 4+ years’ experience in email and lifecycle marketing
  • Expert-level HubSpot skills, including workflows, lists, lead scoring, custom properties and reporting dashboards
  • Strong direct-response copywriting, with punchy writing, tested subject lines and clear calls to action
  • A proven record of building journeys that improved conversion, backed by results
  • Confident with data, including segmentation, filtering, attribution and reporting
  • Experience turning campaign briefs into email and CRM content across different audiences and funnel stages
  • A background in B2B or subscription-based businesses is desirable

To secure the top end of the salary range, you’ll be able to show clear, data-backed results from journeys you’ve designed and built, alongside advanced HubSpot expertise.

We are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
