HR Business Partner - Lancashire - c£40k - Permanent
The business are an international manufacturing business, producing critical products for a specialist industry. The HR Business Partner will report to the HR Director, with responsibility for the HR Officer, therefore this role will be a real mix of both operational and strategic priorities.
Lots of work has already been done in terms of culture development and driving a positive and progressive environment, so they want to build on this and improve management capability to ensure they are future proofed and that managers feel confident and capable in leading their teams.
The HR Business Partner will provide robust and pragmatic advice around employee relations issues, aiming to identify potential issues early on and resolve in an appropriate way, along with providing support in terms of recruitment and training needs.
In addition to the day to day generalist responsibilities, you will also drive the talent management strategy across the business, ensuring effective implementation of performance frameworks and succession plans, along with working with managers to identify high potential talent. You will be fully up to date with employment legislation and upcoming changes, ensuring that policies are fit for purpose and that the business is fully prepared for any changes which may impact. You will also be responsible for the development of the HR Officer, acting as a coach and mentor.
The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrable HR generalist experience, ideally gained within a blue collar environment such as manufacturing, engineering or logistics, and will be excited by a busy environment with lots to do!
