HR Business Partner - Greater Manchester - c£65,000 - FTC / Interim 6 months
This business is currently pushing forward with a huge transformation agenda focused on improvement, sustainability and future-fit. There are multiple change programmes underway across the organisation and the HR team is pivotal to ensuring the success of these initiatives. As many of the team members turn their hands to these projects, they are looking for an experience HRBP to join them to support with some of the BAU activity while providing support to those aligned to the projects.
You will partner key members of the SLT, supporting them as they lead their teams through change while ensuring no negative impact on day to day service levels and output. You will be a sounding board to senior leaders, while also being prepared to roll your sleeves up and support on a wide variety of day to day people activities. While HR is well embedded in this business it is undertaking its own journey towards being a fully strategic partner, and while not there yet this HRBP should be able to demonstrate what great business partnering looks like and how you can add true value.
This is a unionised, operational environment and therefore the ideal candidate will have worked closely with unions previously, along with being comfortable operating in a diverse and complex environment where you need to be agile, adaptable and credible.
You must also demonstrate a true generalist background having operated at HRBP level in a commercially focused, fast paced environment previously.
The initial term for this role is 6 months, with a salary of c£65k plus wider bens. The role is predominantly site based, with around one day per week WFH. You do need to available immediately or at short notice as they are looking for an imminent start.
