HR Business Partner: Permanent: Huddersfield: Paying up to £60,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Our market leading manufacturing client are currently looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. The HR Business Partner will report into the Head of HR and be responsible for both operational and strategic HR duties including (but not limited to) the following:

* Advising management on how best to manage employee relations issues, keeping abreast of employment law updates and ensuring that any changes are communicated across the team
* Advising management and employees on HR policies and procedure
* Working with senior managers to provide advice and guidance on any change management initiatives such as restructures, reorganisations
* Liaising with senior management to improve the Recruitment & Selection process, focusing on attracting high calibre candidates and supporting line managers throughout the process.
* HR MI reporting on a monthly basis to track absence statistics, circulating to managers and ensuring that appropriate action is put in place for employees who are in breach of attendance guidelines
* Working with the Head of Learning & Development to ensure that all training needs are identified, and relevant training is provided. Also guaranteeing that mandatory training courses are arranged, and accurate training records are maintained
* Working closely with middle management and the Head of L&D to improve on performance across the board and to implement a Leadership Development programme
* Setting up a graduate development programme from scratch

In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that you have proven success in a generalist HR Business Partner position as well as the following skills/attributes:

* A CIPD L5 qualification or similar
* A hands-on individual who isn't afraid to get stuck in with the operational day to day duties but someone who can also turn their hand to the strategic HR requirements
* A strong communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels within a business
* Solid stakeholder management skills
* A professional and fair approach to HR, ensuring that all issues are dealt with in a sensitive and confidential manner
