We are on the lookout for a senior HR Professional with a flair for people transformation projects to take on this highly esteemed, newly created Head of People Projects role.

The business have excelled despite recent uncertain times, having taken care of their employees and boasting a strong balance sheet and M&A agenda. They have recently rebranded following a strategic review, in which the company injected further investment into its operations and people. With ambitious & exciting plans ahead, the People & Culture agenda will be pivotal to their ongoing success.

The role

This key hire will supplement their talented wider People team and act as number 2 to the HRD. You'll be overseeing an operational HR team and responsible for line managing a great team of HRBP's across the business to drive performance and consistency and deliver a best-in-class People service.

This will be a fast-paced and multi-faceted role that will be continually adapting - no boring day-to-day grind here! You'll be working across the UK; driving and implementing projects to shape and influence the people & culture agenda including; workforce planning, diversity, equality & inclusion, employee engagement, working towards employer of choice.

The ideal candidate

We're looking for an appropriate senior HR professional with previous experience of leading a team of business partners alongside handling high-profile strategic projects. A true collaborator, you'll have an excellent track record of working closely with C-suite; influencing & communicating with gravitas and confidence.

Your natural key attributes will include strong commercial acumen, pragmatic approach, results-driven, and you get things done!


You will have a diverse range of proven HR experience at a senior level and leading others ideally gained from within a large fast paced, multifaced business. You'll be accomplished at delivering business wide people initiatives & complex projects through others with excellent technical HR expertise. Focused on promoting best practices, you'll live and breathe processes and possess strong analytical and reporting skills.

The role offers Hybrid working minimum 2-3 days onsite in Warrington and travel to sites across the UK as required, there will be a great deal of autonomy and flexibility.
