Whilst operating on a global scale, the business has an SME/entrepreneurial feel to it, the role will be based in central London with periodic overseas travel.

As Head of People and Culture you will assimilate what is working & what isn't and establish a bespoke and added value People plan that uses best practice principles, process & policy & is fit for purpose in line with business vision & values. Joining the Senior Leadership Team, this Head of People & Culture role will be instrumental in designing a contemporary People Strategy that captures the essence of an already highly successful business, and "future proofs" it for growth & further performance whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement.

This Head of People & Culture role is truly generalist and will be varied requiring focus on policy & process, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance, organisation design, development programmes at all levels, reward, internal communications and project management. Ultimately however as Head of People, this role will be instrumental in implementing a high performance culture and to ensure that key talent is identified, retained and developed within the organisation.

This business is seeking a highly commercial HR professional with the flair to create visionary HR practices and the pragmatism to implement them across multiple territories and collaborate with the wider group. To succeed, this role will require a combination of sophisticated influencing styles, a strong honed business acumen and a pragmatism in approach.

A proven HR professional with a track record of previous success at a senior level, you will possess robust HR knowledge plus the know how to create & implement People initiatives that will result in tangible business benefit. Comfortable with both strategic & operational aspects of the role, you will also have capability to ability to lead and develop a small People team. For this Head of People role candidates applying will need to have gained HR experience within a high change, SME environment and overseas HR exposure. A background in service & consultancy businesses; especially within the technology & digital sector is desirable.
