Job description

Head of People - £90,000 - £100,000 plus bens - Greater Manchester (hybrid) - Permanent

Could you build and grow the People strategy for one of the North Wests most exciting businesses?

This super high growth FinTech business are looking to recruit a senior HR professional into their first Head of People role. Having recently undertaken M&A activity they have grown significantly and remain incredibly ambitious. They are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to help them build and deliver a HR strategy which brings people along on this hugely exciting journey.

Reporting into the CEO, this person will have a great opportunity to influence and impact the next phase of their growth through people. A North West success story, they also have a presence in multiple countries and jurisdictions including EMEA, APAC and the US. It's a great time to join as they create a Group model and ensure they drive consistency across the business, along with high performance culture.

The Head of People will find that while there are some foundations in place, there is a huge opportunity to build the People strategy from the ground up. The priority will be 'get the house in order' from a standardisation perspective, assessing what exists and what is needed, and building out from there. Over time the role is expected to evolve to include all aspects of HR, including the broad spectrum of talent (both acquisition and development), engagement and culture - this is very much an opportunity to shape the role based on the journey and needs of the business.

On discussion with this business we are clear that the right candidate for this role must have worked in a regulated environment across multiple international jurisdictions. Experience of a high growth SME environment would also be highly advantageous. You must be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of employment law (both UK and international - for example EMEA and US), and be able to combine attention to detail and a commercial approach with creativity and strong communication skills.

The role will be based in Manchester, and they work on a hybrid basis of 3 days office / 2 days home broadly, however this is centred around business need therefore you must live within a commutable distance to Manchester.

We are anticipating a high level of interest in this role so please bear with us if we don't respond immediately.

Please send your CV via the link to be considered.
