Head of People - Permanent - £50k - £60k - South Manchester

For a HR professional who is excited by building a people function from scratch in a high growth, highly successful business this role is a real gift.

The business are digital marketing agency who have been established for around 10 years, they have recently received significant external investment and as such have very exciting plans for the future. Aiming to treble in size over the next three years, they are currently focusing on building a leadership team who can bring expert knowledge, team leadership skills and a real passion for business.

A critical part of this leadership team will be their new Head of People. As their first appointment in this space this is an immense opportunity to own the People and Culture strategy and put in place some really creative, robust and innovative programmes which will enable growth through people and create a culture of high performing and highly engaged individuals.

As this is a 'start up' HR role, it's all to play for however key areas they have identified for focus will include everything from brilliant basics around policy and process to the develop of vision and values and competency frameworks across the board. Additionally due to said growth you will own the recruitment and retention piece ensuring that the EVP is competitive and attractive for todays challenging market. This will include the development of a robust attraction strategy in addition to introducing a suite of benefits and reward and recognition framework. Culture will be critical to this role, and you will work with the business and leadership team to shape and evolve this as the business grows.

We are looking for an individual with truly rounded HR experience, although a bias in the talent space including development, talent acquisition and culture would be advantageous. You will ideally have worked in high growth, scaling businesses previously and be used to wearing multiple hats, as no two days are the same! You will be comfortably working directly with business owners and investors, and being completely agile in approach and style.

In essence this is a really exciting HR opportunity which will give the right person such a fantastic opportunity to develop and embed a people structure which will directly influence business growth.
