Job Spec:

Job Title: Head of Marketing & Customer Value Proposition
Business: Private Bank
Location: City, London
Base Salary: Circa £100k+ benefits including 20% contributory pension, annual bonus up to 20%, Bupa, subsidised canteen, life assurance (6x salary for death in service), group income protection.
Number of Direct reports: 4

Type of role: Permanent

Focus of the role: The successful candidate will be responsible for building engaging propositions to delight customers, strengthen relationships and attract new business. You will lead, build and execute on marketing plans that underpin the bank's strategy to develop deeper and broader customer relationships that generate sustainable business growth. You will also be responsible for devising & implementing marketing strategy as well as designing financial services propositions that meet customer needs and commercial objectives.
Job Description includes but not limited to:
*Spearhead the development and implementation of the customer value propositions across all private banking segments to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
*Use data science to get a thorough understanding of the needs and wants of personal and business audiences and develop motivating propositions to demonstrate how the brand can assist these customers.
*Internal stakeholder management with front line and product teams to educate and influence the propositions pipeline.
*Shape the desired end to end customer experience journeys including digital as a key 'channel of choice'.
*Creating compelling communications throughout the whole customer lifecycle which will drive customer engagement and loyalty.
*Anticipate market trends and customer needs and incorporating them into a long-term strategic view
*Develop & deliver the marketing strategy including campaigns, events, digital marketing (website, social media and content strategies) and take ownership of the supporting annual budgets including forecasting and tracking.
*Providing guidance regarding the daily activities of the marketing team.
Skills & Background: Solid experience in financial services with a customer proposition & marketing focus. Ideal candidate will come from private banking or wealth management background, high net worth individuals or relatable FS experience for example professional services, mortgages, or insurance. Retail banking candidate will also be considered.
