Already a highly successful industrial business offering a broad of added value services; they are now looking to actively grow their business whether that be by acquisition or by developing their business offering.

As Head of HR, you will be an influential member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the CEO and playing a key role in helping shape the future direction of the business. Accountable for the people agenda this Head of HR role will support all generalist HR aspects including Organisational Development, Talent Management and Succession Planning, People Development and Recruitment / On-boarding.

Whilst this role has many strategic elements, you will also work operationally to:

*Provide trusted and expert advice on a range of HR matters such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and talent
*Apply HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the UK business leadership team
*Interpret business plans, diagnose the people implications and translate that into a clear people plan
*Drive HR functional excellence and process improvement delivered through an HR team
*Comfortable in a wide-ranging role from giving hands-on support to providing strategic direction

To be successful in this Head of HR role you'll be commercially astute, accustomed to partnering senior leaders across the UK, building solid relationships and operating as coach and advisor.

You will have a full generalist background and a strong understanding of core HR processes & strategy preferably from within an industrial type business. You'll possess a can do attitude and will have the creativity to bring fresh ideas to the business in terms of HR best practice & ways of working.
