Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of c.8 colleagues with a range of skills and experience.

Marketing
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement high impact marketing campaigns that achieve measurable benefits across a family of brands spanning social, community and commercial objectives.
Design and execution of lead generation campaigns for our commercial enterprises (Laurus, Trustcare, Limelight and CleanStart).

PR
Senior point of contact for all media engagement and enquiries, both proactive and reactive.
Create positive, productive relationships with a broad mix of journalists at local and national level.
Produce high quality news and media releases.

Brand Management
Custodian of the brand family and organisational reputation.
Extend the reach of the brand; grow beyond traditional borough-based presence to region-wide presence (North West).
Increase reach, relevance and audience engagement across our family of brands.
Exploit the potential of industry awards to enhance brand reputation.

Strategic Comms
Initiate and execute a structured approach to amplifying the voice across key social, political and industry issues.

Corporate Comms
Play a lead role in the production of corporate communications materials, eg Annual Report and Annual Customer Report.
Senior point of approval for key corporate collaterals.

Internal Comms
Revitalise the internal communications process. Introduce innovative ways of informing, engaging and motivating >500 multi-site colleagues during a time of material change for the organisation.

Customer Comms
Create imaginative but relevant content that compels customers to engage in a relationship with the client that goes beyond the transactional and inspires trust and loyalty.
Guardian of the Tone of Voice and brand imagery.

Stakeholder Comms
Protect the reputation of the client during its acquisition.
Identify all key stakeholders; create and implement a programme of proactive communication and engagement to maintain high levels of trust during a transitional period.

Digital Comms
Exploit the potential of our branded websites; ensure a distinctive presence amongst our peer group.
Oversee all UX with particular focus on the effectiveness of our self-service portal.
Collaborate with operations and change colleagues to identify opportunities for easy, convenient digital journeys.
Re-energise our social media presence.
