Up to £32,500 base DOE
We're looking for an experienced Email Marketing Executive with strong analytical skills for our client, based in Greater Manchester (Cheadle, Stockport).
The Role
You will be responsible for leading email marketing activity including data segmentation, creation, and delivery, as well as post campaign analysis. The objective of this activity will be to raise awareness of our client amongst their target audience, drive customer retention and lead acquisition.
You will also manage testing to optimise campaigns, analyse performance and provide reports for monthly and quarterly meetings. It is essential that you have direct experience managing email campaigns and you must have the ability to use a CRM/Email Marketing platform (SAP Marketing Cloud preferable).
In addition, you will be responsible for marketing data governance to include co-ordination and execution of maintenance tasks to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of content. You will also be required to perform data extraction, upload and analysis. There is automation and data administration responsibilities included with this role.
Main Responsibilities
* Creating, executing and measuring targeted email campaigns with a focus on continuous analysis and improvement to increase open rates, click through rates, conversions and leads.
* Data segmentation for effective targeting to maximise email performance across all audiences.
* Developing campaigns to engage subscribers, maximising database size / reach, optimisation of automated campaigns and newsletter subscriptions to drive awareness and conversion.
* Reporting on campaign / promotion / product performance to identify and communicate new strategies which help drive performance across email marketing.
* Co-ordinating data governance tasks to include: maintenance to agreed data standards ensuring completeness and accuracy; regular monitoring, verification / cleansing and reporting on data quality; identification of ageing and potential duplicate records.
* Preparation of data for upload and bulk update. Merging, deleting and moving records.
* Opportunity identification, lead monitoring / qualification tasks with Lead Generation team and sales personnel, using Marketing Cloud and CRM. Tracking, measuring and reporting.
* Administrative duties to ensure flow of enquiries, leads and data according to required processes.
* Supporting marketing initiatives across the team where required to achieve KPIs set out in strategic channel plans, providing information and insight when requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential to role:
* Experience of SAP Marketing Cloud or similar
* Degree in (digital) marketing, data science or a related specialist subject and/or a CIM/IDM marketing qualification
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly developed analytical and numerical ability with an interest in turning data into actionable insights
* Experience with email segmentation and workflows
* Computer skills including MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge
* Experience with CRM platforms
* Organisational skills and ability to multi-task - structured approach, work on own initiative
* Desire to achieve high-quality standards with an excellent attention to detail
* A proactive team player, willing to step outside of the job description if necessary
* Good time management

Continued professional development is available for this job role. The successful candidate will take responsibility for identifying their own personal training needs to ensure effective performance of the role. This may include carrying out further learning in own time as and when required and identified.
The successful candidate should be prepared to participate and engage in both internal and external training that is provided and be keen to develop and learn new skills.
It is a critical part of the job function that you have the ability to manage, evaluate and accept change. You will be required to work from all company sites, around the UK and some overseas travel as necessary to provide the required performance of your role.
