Job description

We are working with an industry-leading global organisation who are in the look-out for an experienced Digital Commerce Lead to head up their upcoming digital transformation.

As Digital Commerce Lead, you will be tasked with managing the programme of work in order to setup the global strategic partnership with the organisation's new, global digital commerce execution partner.

Principal Accountabilities:
-Lead partnership onboarding and transition
-Own and drive the transition plan working with new setup and internal stakeholders ensuring campaigns are delivered on time.
-Transition the current managed Amazon value chain / operation to new partner i.e. marketing and trading, Amazon setup operations, logistics and fulfilment, consumer services
-Drive marketing, trading and sales performance of the Amazon channel working in collaboration with end market teams to ensure successful delivery of targets with appropriate investment
-Deliver strategic partnership setup and transition working closely with digital director which will look to deliver approx. £13m RSV opportunity globally
-Lead the successful delivery of websites working with new provider to deliver channel proposition, marketing / trading plan, commercial P&L etc
-Work closely with end market digital commerce leads to shape targeted capability plans for end markets
-Proactively discover share internal and external best practice case studies
-Develop, mentor and coach digital commerce capability, skills and competencies
-Support relationship and transition plan from existing agencies to the new partner
-Own and manage senior stakeholder relationships championing digital first mindset through effective influencing and relationships
-Global digital function to drive strategy alignment, share key learnings, successes etc

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:
-5+ years digital commerce experience with an FMCG, digital start-up or digital retailer i.e. Amazon.
-Must have end to end Amazon channel management experience (Marketing, trading and operations) in UK and preferably in these other markets (US, Europe and Aus)
-Preferable to have experience of delivering new or managing end to end D2c sales channels
-Preferably have experience working with external digital commerce partners to deliver and / or manage digital commerce sales channels i.e. Amazon agencies
-Ideally have digital commerce leadership experience working with and influencing senior leaders
-Proven knowledge and experience of working with and developing key digital commerce channels
-Proven Track record of P&L management delivering to budget and growth targets in collaboration.
-Strong understanding of digital commerce retailer marketing toolkits including Search, banners etc with working knowledge of most effective ROI.
-Knowledge of the latest and emerging digital commerce trends and innovation, with proven ability to transition opportunities into action / delivery
-Must have proven ability to work in challenging fast paced changing environment with focused prioritization and time management
-Knowledge of the "digital partners" that can assist or enable digital commerce growth.
