Job Title: Customer Insight Manager
Business: B2B & B2C Utilities Business, half a billion in revenue turnover
Location: M56 Corridor
Base Salary: £30 - £37k
Benefits: Annual bonus up to 20%, impact centric bonus (company & individual performance) 25 days holidays.
Type of role: Permanent

Focus of the role: This is an opportunity to join an expanding marketing function with a real impact on an ambitious business in terms of how the business works. There will be an opportunity to learn from the best and work closely with the Marketing Director and other members of the marketing team.
Job Description includes but not limited to:
*Ability to develop a detailed understanding of and insight into the company's domestic and business customers
*Providing expert knowledge on segmentation to assist in increasing performance
*Deliver targeted data extracts for marketing campaigns and produce full evaluations of all campaigns, including firm recommendations on how to increase response & ROI from sales & marketing activities.
*To manage the customer satisfaction process, including data extraction, survey implementation, analysing the results and ensuring that the business reacts to negative feedback.
*Delivering findings regularly to management in the form of presentation and reporting.
*Development & management of the customer database and data analysis tools.
*Manage and report on key market intel and competitor activity, relevant to each business sector
*To provide solutions on critical and complex data orientated business questions relating to customer, sector and prospect behaviour. This will include providing concise recommendations re same.
*Responsibility for all the Data Protection issues within the business, with special significance given to ensure that the company is compliant with GDPR.
*To implement market research when required and maintain a source of all research that is relevant to the business needs.
*To be aware of and understand the company targets and the role marketing plays in that delivery.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

*Educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing or business related subject
*Proven experience in SQL
*Solid experience in a marketing analysis position within a customer centric business
*Proven experience in data extraction, market segmentation. (Digging into data to extract for marketing purposes not MI)
