Job description

Content Marketing Manager

Responsible for all the business's narratives and messages you'll be in support of the content strategies. You'll work with brand & marketing to oversee the development and management of the business's brand standards and content style guides, as well as the overall expression of the business's corporate identity in the content it puts out.

The Content manager will develop first-class marketing content inclusive of videos, infographics, blogs, and data visualization in order to ensure optimal delivery of content to target audiences across multiple channels.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Content Marketing Expertise
* Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads that deliver revenue and customer retention.
* Work with Head of Content to agree messaging framework, value propositions and house styles with guides and support
* Collaborates across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
* Puts the customer at the heart of content, working with persona and campaign marketing team to understand audiences and value to workflows
* This role requires a brand publisher mindset: create the content the audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion
* World class writing ability, able to write marketing content for agreed value propositions, house style and brand consistency
* A champion for marketing editorial style across marketing and the wider business

Integrated Content

* Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution
* Work with social media expert in-house team and campaign marketers to ensure powerful and consistent messaging to market
* This person must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels

Content Management

Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with brand voice, style and tone.
* Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed
* Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
* Management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel
* Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand
* Executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required

* Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
* Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
* Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
* Experience with wordpress, LinkedIn and the top social channels
* Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
* Strong stakeholder management with cross functional teams and track record of efficient internal communication
* Ability to manage and influence highly effective senior leaders and professionals
