Content Manager - Leeds or London
My client is a high profile global professional services firm with a reputation for innovation and exceptional client service. In this newly created role the Content Manager will oversee the day to day content management of the firms International intranet due to be implemented. This will include developing and implementing policies and standards to ensure effective and engaging content that meets the information needs of the firm. Working with both the Marketing Internal Communications team and the Intranet and IT Operations team you will be responsible for maintaining quality control on content and design.
Key responsibilities:
*Work with the wider project team to design and implement the intranet governance strategy
*Champion the strategic use of the intranet, collaboration and social channel
*Take ownership for editorial control across the intranet to ensure content and communications standards and guidelines are met.
*Develop, maintain and monitor compliance with intranet content policies and standards
*Manage the content of the intranet homepage to maintain a good balance of content and tools
*Draft new content and edit submitted content to promote consistent tone and voice.
*Improve access of content through information architecture, search functionality improvements
The successful candidate will have a broad background in information and communications. You will have experience of working with intranets and engaging/influencing stakeholders. You will be skilled at writing and editing for impact and networking across the firm to generate content and keep the intranet current and relevant.
