The Company..

This Consultancy works with over 90 different agencies in 84 countries and is structured into three divisions: two offices in London & Boston, including offices in Munich, Sydney, Singapore and Mexico City. The consultancy provides relationship intelligence (through unbiased client feedback, intelligent relationship tools and coaching); enabling agencies to better understand and manage their clients.


The Role…

As Consultant, you will take the lead on a number of key agency relationships. This will involve delivering their service to agencies, managing and developing the team that works on them, and helping to improve the quality of their service and product.

What you will be doing….

Core Business

*Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and sounding board to their clients.
*Deliver their service to agencies, helping them manage their client relationships and establishing/maintaining their status as valued and indispensable partner.
*Delivering their service involves: providing data, analysis and insight, delivering stimulating and thoughtful debriefs, active client management, reviewing data as it comes in, flagging and sharing with agencies any highlights or areas for serious concern, overseeing the scheduling and administration of surveys, providing advice to agencies as required.
*Oversee the scheduling and administration of surveys.
*Provide ad hoc advice to agencies as requested, balancing client service with commercial needs of business.
*Contribute to new projects and product development.
*Participate in developing knowledge and expertise in client/agency relationships. This could include leading a research project.

Team development
*Contribute to and support the development of the team. This requires fitting in with the team, demonstrating sensitivity to colleagues, being prepared to give and receive open and honest feedback, and actively support learning needs of others (particularly the less experienced team members).
New business
*Contribute to the business' new business efforts by obtaining referrals, soliciting business, and actively following up opportunities in all sectors of the communications industry.

*Comply with all aspects of their security policies, taking personal responsibility for the security of your own, the company's and their clients' data


Skills required

*In-depth expertise in the world of communications agencies
*Curious about the the psychology of (business) relationships and interested in the stories that data can tell.
*Have the strategic gravitas and credibility to partner CEOs .
*High levels of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, ability to self manage, awareness of others)
*Excellent communicator with the ability to listen powerfully, then communicate clearly.
*Cognitive ability. Able to analyse data and translate it into thoughtful and stimulating debriefs.
*Strong strategic thinker comfortable participating in research projects and product development.
*Organized and flexible. Able to adapt and manage change.
*Unfailingly discreet and able to deal with highly confidential material.
